Barlings

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Barlings and Low Barlings are two small hamlets lying south off the A158 road at Langworth, Lincolnshire, England. Low Barlings is a scattered collection of homes south down a trackway out of Barlings, running down towards boggy ground near the river Witham.

In times past, Barlings was more important, there being a small Hall and a ruined Abbey. The Church of St Edward the Confessor, the Hall and the Abbey ruins are all listed buildings.
