The Barking & Dagenham Post is a weekly local newspaper in the area of the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. It is published by Archant http://www.archant.co.uk http://www.bdpost.co.uk.
The paper was originally called the Dagenham Post and some older residents of its distribution area still refer to it by this name. It is published on Wednesdays and as at September 2007 the cover price for the paper edition is 50p.
In approximately 2007 an online digital edition was started, with an on-screen facsimile of the paper in pagesuite format. This is edition is only available to registered users of the website, but registration is free. Recently, in 2008, the Barking and Dagenham post is holding a competition for kids to say why they think their school is the best.
