Barkarby Airport (IATA: N/AICAO: ESKB) is a disbanded Swedish Air Force base, right outside Akalla north of Stockholm. Barkarby Airport is one of Sweden’s oldest still active airports, but is today mostly used by general aviation. Close and partly on the airfield a big shopping complex is situated. There are also plans to build houses, apartments and offices on large parts of the airfield. Dec 2008 will be the last commercial flight date, then they will build houses there.

Barkaby airport was the location used to photograph the 1976 cover of the ABBA album, 'Arrival". The Swedish group are seen sitting in a helicopter on the ground at Barkaby, and on the reverse the helicopter is seen arriving.
