Bargal

Bargal (Somali: Baargaal) is a town of some 7000 people[1] in north-east Somalia. It is a port town located on the Arabian Sea coast in the mountainous region Bari in the de facto independent state of Puntland.

Bargal was the location of the Bargal raid in June 2007.
