Bare Bones is an all-acoustic studio album from legendary rock band Wishbone Ash. It features remixed versions of old classics and a number of new original and cover songs. It is the only studio album to feature guitarist/vocalist Mark Birch and the first album in eight years to feature drummer Ray Weston. Several special guests also appear on the album, including former vocalist Claire Hamill. In support of the album, the band would integrate an all-acoustic set within their concert repertoire throughout 1999 and 2000.
