Barberino Val d'Elsa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 30 km south of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,099 and an area of 65.8 km².[1]
Barberino Val d'Elsa borders the following municipalities: Castellina in Chianti, Certaldo, Montespertoli, Poggibonsi, San Gimignano, Tavarnelle Val di Pesa.
