Barbara Stone is an Australian politician. She is a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly for Springwood and a member of the Australian Labor Party.

Stone graduated with an Associate Diploma in Business Management and a Bachelor of Business (HRM) at Queensland University of Technology. She then worked at Australia Post for a number of years before becoming an Electorate Officer for Judy Spence, State Member for Mt Gravatt.

Now in her third term in office, Barbara Stone is currently the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee, Public Works. She is also a member of numerous Ministerial Legislative Committees including Police and Corrective Services, Transport and Main Roads, Emergency Services and Sports. She was elected Chair of Caucus for the Labor Party. Stone is the longest serving Member in the Springwood electorate's history.[citation needed]
