Barbara Garrick (born December 3, 1965) is an American actress perhaps best known for her role as DeDe Halcyon Day in the three television miniseries based on Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City novels. She was nominated for a Gemini Award in 1999 for Further Tales of the City.[2]
Garrick was born in Los Angeles, California[1] and graduated from the Juilliard School of Drama. Garrick appeared as Allison Perkins on One Life to Live from 1986 to 1987, returning from 2001 to 2002 and again in 2003.[3][4][5] Garrick returned to the series on January 25, 2008.[6][7] She also has played various characters in several episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
