Barbara Briggs is co-owner of Phaethon World-Stage Co. Pictures. A New York-based writer-producer, she produced and co-wrote the much-lauded Off-Broadway play 'Unto the Innocent' starring Australian actor Paul Sanderson. A tragicomedy, the play was about the end of the progressive era of 1917 and was extended twice. While in Los Angeles working on a project as a screenwriter for hire, she also produced and co-wrote the new independent film Lives No Longer Ours (2006), a 'romantic drama of loss' set in 1650, to be released in 2006. The trailer for Lives No Longer Ours has already been featured by Sony Corp. at the Sundance and Cinequest Film Festivals.

Briggs currently has a play headed for London's West End and Broadway with a British star set to play one of the two leads, and is co-producing a new drama with music that is being tried out for Broadway.
