Barbados Group
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Barbados Group represents a "self-selected group of scholars, consultants and practitioners"[1] which aims to build an ontological paradigm of performance in organizations.[2]
The group and its main publication-vehicle SSRN both have at their head Michael Jensen, Emeritus Professor at the Harvard Business School, and who also has links to the Monitor Group.
Top scientists[who?] in the fields of philosophy, neuroscience, complex adaptive systems (CAS), psychology and rhetoric work together on creating three new laws which are at the source of human performance.[citation needed] Much of the evidence for these laws as validated by the sciences listed above consists of business-cases for them working for clients of the Vanto Group and relates to the scientific results[which?] reported about participants in Landmark Education programs. Accordingly, several of the group's members have links with Landmark Education.[3]
