Barış Özbek (born September 14, 1986 in Essen, Germany) is a German footballer of Turkish descent. He plays for Galatasaray. His previous club was Rot-Weiss Essen. He is also part of the German U-21 national team.

Özbek cemented his spot as a solid regular starter at Galatasaray in his first season after an impressive start to the season. He recently celebrated the league title in Istanbul with his club. They won the 2007-08 season with 79 points, 6 points above local rivals Fenerbahçe.
