[edit] Not Independent Baptist

I believe that is misleading to say that Baptist Bible College is an independent Baptist College, as it is owned by the Baptist Bible Fellowship International [1]. I realize there are some technicalities here, however I believe a distinction should be made between "Independent Baptists" and BBFI. Mgroop 22:40, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Links to Baptist.edu

BBC recently redid it's webpage and all the references to there are now invalid. It appears that the site is still under some construction, so currently I am unable to find new references. I am replacing the current references with the "fact" tag, and when the site is fully up and running, hopefully we can get this page properly referenced again. Mgroop 15:08, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Actually Baptist Bible College is Independent Baptist and is not owned by Baptist Bible Fellowship. It is a part of th e Baptist Bible Fellowship which is an Independent baptist fellowship not to be confused with denomination. Independent Baptist Churches across the nation have no headship of central authority instead create their own churches by-laws; however they are all asked to be similar by the churches themselves which are a part of the group.
