Baphomet Engine is a Brazilian psychedelic trance project formed by Luiz Fernando Secchinatto (also known as Louis aka Psyhamaa) and Fábio Aurelio S. Japiassu in the city of Goiânia, Goiás (Brazil).

Fábio & Louis are working together since 2003 and have already played in Europe, India, Japan and Costa Rica. Since 2004, they have regularity bookings on Brazilian PsyTrance Circuit for the most important party organizers and festivals on the Brazilian Scene. Between 2004 and the end of 2007, Baphomet Engine music figured around compilations of several labels of the World, they released one split album with the French producer Raphael aka Datakult by Nabi Records and their debut Album by the Asian label Manic Dragon. Nowadays Louis and Fábio are working for their new partnership Label, Kabrathor Records and on their solo projects.

Louis and Fábio came from very different musical background ( heavy Metal and Punk Rock bands), in 2003 they met in a Bar at Goiânia and decided start a music to exchange their information about music production. After it both moved from the traditional bands and instruments to electronic music and computer productions.

Luiz Fernando Secchinatto was born in 1980 in Ribeirão Preto, SP (Brazil). Came from a middle / high class Brazilian and Italian family became a Keyboard, Piano and Bass student since his childhood. In 1997, he moved to U.S.A. with a friend and guitar player from his first Punk Rock band, there discovered the electronic music and started collects music of this style and in 1999 when he came back to Brazil started play as DJ.

Fábio Aurelio S. Japiassu was born in Goiânia, GO (Brazil). Got inside music with his old brother and played on lot of local bands of Heavy and Thrash Metal in the 90's. He discovered electronic music in 2002 and learned computer music production with his old brother, Thiago André. In 2003, when he met Louis, he decided move from Metal bands to Psytrance.
