[edit] Transportation

Baoshan District is starting to get served by Shanghai's Metro Network, although the network does not stretch north enough to serve central Baoshan. The 952B bus runs from the corner of Youyizhi Lu and Youyi Lu to People's Square in central Shanghai. The number 5 tourist bus runs from Mudanjiang Lu to Jiangwan Zhen metro station. There is also a ferry terminal which serves several destinations including the two hour ride to Chongming Island and the longer, 12 hour journey to the buddhist island of Putuoshan.
