Baone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 50 km southwest of Venice and about 25 km southwest of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,133 and an area of 24.4 km².[1]
Baone borders the following municipalities: Arquà Petrarca, Cinto Euganeo, Este, Galzignano Terme, Lozzo Atestino, Monselice. The municipality of Baone has three frazioni (outlying administrative divisions), in addition to the town of Baone itself: Calaone, Rivadolmo and Valle San Giorgio.
