Bao Xun (? - 224) is a character in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a historical novel by Luo Guanzhong. The character was a minister under Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms era in ancient China. He received his position as a minister from warlord Cao Cao since his father, Bao Xin, was a veteran who was killed in battle when he was serving the warlord. Known for his outspokenness, he never held back anything in his mind, including criticisms that would offend his master. This caused a number of demotions during the reign of Cao Pi, the successor of Cao Cao. After being demoted several times, Cao Pi grew tired and finally executed him.
