[edit] Welcome message

Welcome!

Hello, Bantamcc, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. [edit] Albino deer

I've placed your albino deer story on your user page. It's not an encyclopedic article and not appropriate for the main namespace, but you're welcome to have it in your own user space as an interesting story about you. Chick Bowen 18:25, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Would you mind also providing sources and licensing information for the images you've uploaded, Image:Albino Deer 3 .jpg and Image:Albino Deer 4.jpg? Please see our image policy for more information. If you took these pictures yourself, you can just edit the image page, indicate that you took them, and add the tag {{GFDL-self}}. This releases them under the GFDL, our site license. Thanks. LOOK It's a real story !!

I didn't delete it; I moved it to your user page. A Wikipedia article needs to be verifiable: that is, it has to be recorded in reliable sources. We can't take an article about something that you only know about because it happened to you. For more information about Wikipedia articles see the links in the section above this one, particularly How to write a great article. If you'd like others to review my actions, you may ask at deletion review. Chick Bowen 01:38, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
I now see that this text and the images were taken from snopes.com. This is a violation of several of our policies, particularly our copyright policy. I've deleted all of it and the images. Chick Bowen 06:08, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
