[edit] WVVA

  • YOUR RATIONALE IS FLAWED AT BEST. You have no authority to censure postings that are ACCURATE. To edit based on your own opinion or a consensus has ZERO credibility with me and many others in this business. MANY MANY stations across the country list their past personaltiies, and thankfully will continue to do so.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to WVVA, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. On-air personnel at small-market stations have a high rate of turnover. Lists of past personalities is not notable enough for inclusion, unless they have name recognition, and regardless of verifiability. Please stop re-adding this unhelpful information. Thank you. Unless the past personalities had a really long tenure or made it really big somewhere else, consensus on TV station articles is that a section on them really isn't appropriate. Please, discuss your reasoning on the talk page ... it's accessible by way of the "discussion" tab on the article page. Blueboy96 02:29, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to confirm that consensus really is the way we make decisions at Wikipedia, and the education of various editors is not relevant, nor is what other stations do on their own web pages. Consensus and the application of Wikipedia policies are all that matters, so you'll need to explain why your preferred version is supported by Wikipedia policy and get consensus on the talk page. -FisherQueen (talk ยท contribs) 15:43, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
