Bandar Albuliwi was born on January 2nd, 1985 in Brooklyn, New York. Attended Murry Bergtraum High School in lower Manhattan. Would often times skip school and roam the streets of New York City with his best friend by his side. Learned more from the city streets, more than what he could learn in a classroom.

Attended an open casting call for a spot in the Flea Theater's prestigious resident acting company, "The Bats". Out of thousands of applicants who auditioned, he was one of only five actors who were chosen to be part of company.
Performed for next six months Off Broadway in Yussef El Guindi's award-winning production, "Back of the Throat", directed by Jim Simpson.
As a writer, his first stage play, Side by Side, premiered Off Broadway at the American Theater of Actors. The New York Times stated that "...the success of Side by Side will give Albuliwi's film dreams a jump-start, not to mention allow him a little taste of how his work can affect an audience."
His film Broadway Bound is currently touring the festival rounds. It is a semi-autobiographical story based on his personal experiences as an Arab-American actor living in post-9/11 New York City.
