[edit] English Translation

Bantay means "guard or watch over" and bata means child so should we translate it as "Child watch" or "child guard"? Note that the foreign sources that I found calls the program by its name.--Lenticel (talk) 02:41, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Bantay really means some sort of a guard or protector, I would think "child guardian".Susanbryce (talk) 02:58, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Child guardian is ok. Maybe we should add that to the lead so that English-speaking people would understand what their name means.--Lenticel (talk) 06:11, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
