Any references for the name? I heard that it was named after Mitrofan Ban.--Hadžija 12:28, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi. Here are few links: Municipality of Cukarica, Srpsko nasledje, Glas javnosti. It has been written in many books too. Mitrofan Ban however, was born and lived in Montenegro, so he had nothing with the Belgrade's hill to be named Banovo later. PajaBG 17:31, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
That seems pretty conclusive, cheers.--Hadžija 20:22, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
