[edit] Merge with MO 291?

I don't think the two pages should be merged. Mo 291 follows *part* of Bypass 71, but not all of it. Bypass 71 ended near Platte City, but Mo 291 ends in Kansas City at Interstate 435. I think the two pages need to be kept separate. US 71 22:13, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Joplin (alt.)

If anyone can convert this sign image to the svg format, please do and change the routebox to the standard US routebox. I have no way to change this to svg format. Rt66lt 20:26, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] U.S. 71 and Alt 71

Alt 71 was actually truncated back to I-44 when U.S. 71 was moved to the Carthage Bypass. Alt 71 was decommissioned when the segment south of Neosho was completed. US 71 17:12, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] U.S. Route 71 Bypass

US 71 By-pass at Platte City needs to be moved to decommissioned. It's now part of I-29 US 71 18:34, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up! I moved it. —Scott5114 00:14, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
