[edit] Translation

I have read about Gono Azadi League in the Bashir Al Helal's book Bhasha Andoloner Itihash which is written about Language Movement. There Gono Azadi League was translated as Civil Liberties League. In that case isn't that correct.Tarif from Bangladesh 17:35, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

It would be a possible translation, although a bit streched. The question is whether that is a translation only used by the individual author or if it was used in english language media at the time. Also, I cannot personally wouch for that this party is identical to the original Gano Azadi League. The name '(Samad)' could indicate that it is just one group amongst other claiming the name. --Soman 12:22, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
