[edit] Extinct Bird?

I was wondering why the [[category:extinct birds]] was added, as I thought it was disputed as to whether or not the bird still exists. Is this the norm for such species? Cheers, Corvus coronoides _{talk 00:44, 29 August 2007 (UTC)}
