[edit] Older/classic cars

I believe one reason older cars such as Ford Cortina's, Rover P6's etc are used in UK Bangers is because they are not allowed fuel injection, which disqualifies some "newer" but worthless cars such as early Ford Mondeos 86.145.229.214 19:19, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
