Coordinates: Banswada is a village and a Mandal in Nizamabad district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1] The name has been derived from its ancient age name is Mahisawada(" the ancient Indian epic, The Mahabarata. Part of the story takes place in Mahishapuram"). This town is the 5th big town in the district of Nizamabad.The MANJEERA River flows in 3km west form Banswada.
