Bannang Sata

Bannang Sata (Thai: บันนังสตา) is the principal town of the Bannang Sata district, in Yala Province of Thailand. The town is subdistrict municipality (thesaban tambon) and covers parts of the subdistrict (tambon) Bannang Sata. As of 2007 it has a population of 2,856.[1]

The municipality was created as a sanitary district (sukhaphiban) in 1956.[2] Like all sanitary district, it was upgraded to a subdistrict municipality in 1999.[3]
