Bank Texas

Bank Texas is a full service financial institution with locations in Quitman, Mineola, and Holly Lake Ranch. With assets of almost $140 million, it is one of the largest corporations headquartered in Wood County. Bank Texas was incorporated in 1914 as The First National Bank of Quitman. It began as a private bank in the late 1890s and converted to a state charter in 1905. The name was changed in 2005 to differentiate itself from other banks with similar names.
