Banihal Pass (el. 2832 m.) is a mountain pass in the Pir Panjal Range.

The Pir Panjal Range separates the Kashmir valley of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir from the outer Himalaya. Banihal pass remains snow covered during the winter, and Jawahar tunnel, named after the first Prime Minister of India, was constructed for round the year surface transport. The Jawahar tunnel is operational since 22nd December 1956.
