Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation

Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) is a government-owned monopoly in Bangladesh dealing in importation of crude oil and refined oil, lubricant, refining of crude oil, and distribution and marketing of fuel oils, lubricants and other petroleum products in the country.[1] It was established by a Presidential Ordinance in 1976 (# 88, 13/11/1976)[1] in compliance to the Bangladesh Petroleum Act 1974,[1] which vests production, processing, refining and marketing of petroleum products in the country exclusively with the government.
