Bane is a video game character in the first Legacy of Kain game. In Blood Omen he was voiced by Paul Lukather. In the early stages of development, Bane was known as "Orzach."
Bane served as the Guardian of the Pillar of Nature for about 500 years, from after Vorador's assault on the Circle until his death at Kain's hands. As Guardian of the Pillar of Nature, Bane had the power to reshape the environment, such as transforming earth into water.
Bane was the lover of Dejoule the Energist, Guardian of the Pillar of Energy, and together, along with Anacrothe the Alchemist, created the magical fortress known as Dark Eden[1]. Bane and Dejoule were the second and third Circle members killed on Kain's journey.
