Bandung Majalengka International Airport is a planned new airport for Bandung, Indonesia. It would be located in Kertajati, Majalengka regency, some 100 kilometeres east of Bandung. If built, it would replace the Husein Sastranegara International Airport which is located in the center of the city and hence inappropriate for the flight safety.
The project is estimated to cost Rp.25,4 trillion. As of 2008, construction has not started, nor are there any concrete plans for doing so.
The governor of West Java said the new airport would help ease traffic at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta.
