Bandito Records is a record label that was started in 2006 by Jay Crompton and Lyndon Coyne, otherwise known as Electro-house producers and DJs Super Mal.
Based in London, England the first release on the label was Super Mal's “Bigger Bigger” in the early part of 2007.
The second release on July 2, 2007 was "Bigger Than Big" and featured punk vocalist Luciana. It made the UK top 20 after being playlisted by Radio 1 and The Box.
Other artists on the Bandito label include Nismob, Jason Wolf and The Click. All are electro-house producers - a musical stlye very popular in 2007-08 in the UK and around the world. It is based on a French house style that became popular a few years earlier and features similar sounds and production tricks (e.g filtered loops and 80s samples) but is often at a faster tempo with a ´harder´ sound.
