Bandar Baru Bangi (literally translated from Malay to English as the New Bangi Town) is a township situated in the district of Hulu Langat, in Selangor, Malaysia, and named after the small town of Bangi situated further south. It is located exactly in between the cities of Kajang and Putrajaya (formerly Prang Besar) and is about 25km away from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur; as well as the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Bandar Baru Bangi is noted for housing education institutions, national institutions and agencies, corporate institutions, factories and industrial training centres. It also houses a five-star hotel, Hotel Equatorial with an 18-hole golf course. The township is also a hometown to some prominent local independent musicians such as Azmyl Yunor, Lucy In The Loo, and Shock System.

It is also a sanctuary of the Ulutopian.
