The Band-winged Nightjar (Caprimulgus longirostris) is a species of nightjar in the Caprimulgidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, and heavily degraded former forest.
