The Band-tailed Seedeater (Catamenia analis) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland and heavily degraded former forest.
