Banaripara (Bengali: বানারিপাড়া) is an Upazila of Barisal District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh.

Banaripara is located at 22.7819° N 90.1667° E. It has 26,697 households and total area 134.32 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Banaripara has a population of 143,825. Males constitute are 50.67% of the population, and females 49.33%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 70,724. Banaripara has an average literacy rate of 46.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
