The Banana Dance has several different meanings and performances.
- A traditional scouting song with actions, also sung at summer camps and similar places. As with most songs like this, there are several versions of the lyrics and actions.
- The title of a music album by Manny Valenz.
- Part of Chris Elliott's Marlon Brando impersonation skit on the David Letterman show. It consisted of a banana peel placed on the floor and Elliot dancing slowly around it.
- An exotic dance performed by Josephine Baker in her Siren of the Tropics movie.
- The Dancing Banana is a popular emoticon.
