The Maytag Repairman has a crappy home life because of his loss of job. His wife hassles him to find another job, though he is far too depressed to do so, and claims he'll now devote his time to writing a book, which he never wrote. They get into a fight, he hits her, she leaves him. He then goes into the kitchen, yells at the washer and then shoots himself.
