It is about six hundred year old village. Bana Singh Bajwa is its founder (whom brother Nauru Singh Bajwa had laid the foundation of Norowal city) so this village is called Ban Bajwa. But some people say this is the last village of Bajwa tribe from East to West (There are 140 villages of Bajwa Tribe) so it was called Band Bajwa. With the passing of time its name change into Ban Bajwa (By removing d) A heavy flood has destroyed old village and its remains are still present at west side of Ban Bajwa.
Situated: Ban Bajwa is a big famous village. It is situated at about 100km from Lahore in District Sialkot (Punjab Province of Pakistan). It is on the bank of Pasrur-Daska road. Marala Ravi Link Canal passed through it and dived it into two parts, Old Ban Bajwa and New Ban Bajwa. Pasrur Daska road also divides it into third part which is called Kulia Gujran. It is in PP 127 and NA 113. It is thickly populated village. Its Latitude is 32.2833 and Longitude is 74.5667 and Altitude (feet) is 777.

Sialkot International Airport 30 km by road and Allama Iqbal International Airport 100 km by road. Population, Area Crops & Economics: Its population is about 10000. Most of the people are farmers and traders and other are in the Government jobs. It has 2800 Aiker fertile land. Wheat and Rice are its big crops. Rice of Ban Bajwa are considered very good due to its length and cooking quality. Several casts are living here like, Jat Bajwa, Gujar, Kashmiree, Banjara Khan (Shaikh) Rajput, Arain, Rahmani, Malik and other small cast. Beside Muslims Christians also live here. Jat Bajwa is big cast whom elder founded this village. Gujar are also in well number (They are migrated from Jammu). Its economics base on agriculture, surgical instruments and sports goods. People of Ban Bajwa are very friendly. They live like a family. There are lush green fields around the village. Facilities: Prayer Time: At BAN BAJWA There are one high school for boys and one for girls. Primary section are attach with them. One school for girls each in Kulian Gujran and New Ban Bajwa is working. Facility of electricity, water supply and telephone are available here. Inauguration ceremony for gas also has done by Federal Minister Ali Asjed Malhi. Health facility is very poor here.
Problems: (1) Health facilities are very rare here. Only BHU with out any equipment is available here. A good hospital badly required. (2) Degree College for Girls required.
