[edit] Towns & Villages
I don't know where you are from, but I believe you are the one that started the article about "towns and villages" in Georgia. While I thank you for your input, I must correct you, as there are no "towns" and "villages" in Georgia, at least not in a legal sense. A tag has been placed on the article for speedy deletion, as it serves no purpose. Now, if I went across the river to South Carolina, yes, towns have a legal status (villages are just another name for unincorporated areas). Feel free to add these municipalities to the list of cities in Georgia, but please remember, there are no (incorporated) towns or villages in Georgia.Iamanadam 21:34, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Ya know what? I looked at the cenus page and it does list towns, cities, and villages. However, the state of Georgia only reconizes cities as legally municipalities in the state. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamanadam (talk • contribs) 02:23, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
