Bamshad

Bamshad (in Persian: بامشاد) was one of the four most famous and skilled musicians lived in the Persian Sassanid dynasty when Khosrau II was in power. He used to play music with passion and full of energy in the beginning of everyday in the time of dawn, for this reason, people were always happy and pleased. That's why he was called Bam+shad (dawn+happiness). The other three famous musicians in the Persian Sassanid dynasty were: Barbad, Nakisa and Ramtin.
Sassanid dynasty and its kings made a revolution in Persian art and music. They paid a lot of respect and attention like their ancestor (Achaemenians), to promote arts and music in schools and among the nation of the Persian empire.
