The Bamboo Woodpecker (Gecinulus viridis) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
