Bambale Mbulatale Emmanuel "Boom" Osby (born in Richmond, Virginia) is a college basketball forward for the University of Maryland Terrapins. He transferred from New Mexico. In the 2006-2007 season, Osby played an average of 13.3 minutes per game, putting up 5.8 points per contest, to go along with 3.9 rebounds.

Bambale Osby, also known as Boom, was sired in Richmond, Virginia in 1998. Widely believed to be a two-legged centaur, Osby played forward for the Maryland Terrapins Mens Basketball team. While he was not working on cars, his favorite hobby, he wandered College Park in a smoking jacket, monacle, Sherlock Holmes-style hat, and pipe, solving mysteries. He called this English persona "Barnable Cosby" and it utterly baffled Coach Gary Williams and fans. Before coming to Maryland, he played basketball in Mexico.

Osby is often confused with the Blanca, a character from the Streetfighter Ninetendo game. His current whereabouts are unknown.
