I am Rienk Peter Kuipers (born June 6, 1990) and I am Dutch Wikipedian. I was born in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands and currently I reside in Groningen. I am a student at the University of Groningen, pursuing a degree in philosophy. I joined the Dutch Wikipedia in the autumn of 2006 and have been very active since then. Shortly thereafter I created my account here. I'm an experienced user on the Dutch wikipedia; I wrote over 80 articles and made over 3000+ edits.By now I have reached the conclusion my time is best spent here on the English language Wikipedia. The Dutch Wikipedia is only useful for typically Dutch subjects. Almost everyone in my country has enough understanding of the English language to make use of the English articles. I see it as my duty to create and enhance articles related to The Netherlands and Fryslân, the province I hail from. Although I really enjoyed the cosyness (Is that a word? I believe the English language lacks a translation for our word 'gezellig') on the Dutch version, I will from now on only be present here.
