  • "Dixon will have the advantage of incumbancy, but she is also embroiled in an ethics scandal..." I don't think this is the place for speculation. royblumy 19:07, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Both of those claims are taken directly from the Sun story linked to at the end of the article. If you can think of a more encyclopedic way of putting it, go ahead, but it's hardly "original research." It's a fact that Dixon's office is being investigated by the state prosecutor; saying that said investigation could have an effect on her campaign strikes me as common sense. --Jfruh (talk) 19:22, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Alright, I didn't look at the Sun article. "Embroiled in an ethics scandal," however, is something that might be acceptable for journalistic writing, but it's not quite kosher for an encyclopedia, is it? That said, I think Wikipedia disputes are silly, so I leave it up to you to edit and expand as you see fit. royblumy 23:52, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

I noticed there are several articles linked to, but they are not referenced specifically in the article above using inline citations. Also, try to avoid using the Baltimore Sun as an online source, because they are notorious for having dead links within a few weeks for their website (I know this is difficult, but try some other Maryland papers as well). --tomf688 (talk - email) 03:42, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

All the quotes are directly from the Sun articles; I'll add the cites. Yeah, I know they'll go behind the wall soon... not sure how to get around it as the Sun is going to be main source of info on this. --Jfruh (talk) 03:54, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

seems like this page hasn't been updated in a while, and as of right now, it seems to be a 4 person race: Frank Conaway Senior, Andre Bundley, Keiffer Mitchell, Sheila Dixon and Sheila's the front runner as far as money goes: http://www.examiner.com/a-748049~Dixon_s_campaign_reaches__1_million.html Attgig 05:22, 29 May 2007 (UTC)attgig
