the Russian School is not exclusive to the Bolshoi and Kirov. George Balanchines methods are a subset of the Russian School school and strongly influenced by the Italian School in terms of technical expertise and speed / lightness of step.
Modern Ballet is not a school of Ballet technique but choreographic style. however this page should reference to William Forsythe (dancer) and his deconstuction of classical ballet technique with 'improvisation technologies'. Ohka- 12:29, 24 Jul 2004 (UTC)
