The Balaklava Football Club is one of the seven clubs in the Adelaide Plains Football League. It has an A Grade team, A B Grade team, A senior colts team and A Junior Colts team.

The Balaklava Football Club was formed in 1909 and first played in the Balaklava And Wakefield Football Association. It began in the Wooroora Football Association in 1919 and in 1926 they divided into two teams. The Balaklava Centrals and the Balaklava Rovers. They began in the Adelaide Plains Football League in 1940 and has won 13 premierships in the Adelaide Plains Football League.
