Balzola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 km east of Turin and about 35 km northwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,440 and an area of 16.7 km².[1]
Balzola borders the following municipalities: Casale Monferrato, Costanzana, Morano sul Po, Rive, and Villanova Monferrato.
