Ballet Folklorico en Aztlan was founded in 1967 by Hermina Enrique Acosta and currently her daughter Viviana Enrique Acosta is the Artistic Director.
The Ballet Folklorico en Aztlan presents Sunday Zapateado the 2nd Sunday of the month at 2 p.m. at the Centro Cultural de la Raza in Balboa Park. Other major productions include Fiesta Poblana during Cinco de Mayo festivities and The Night Sky a dance theatre production about the Mexican Revolution.
The Ballet Folklorico en Aztlan presents at various civic and community events as well as weddings and private parties. Currently the company dancers are:
